Misty Fernandez is a Regional Executive for Georgia Power with over 24 years experience in the energy industry. In her current role, Misty leads Georgia Power’s external activities including customer service, sales, region operations, corporate responsibility, and community and economic development for the Atlanta Region.
Fernandez serves as chair of the board of directors for the Latin American Association, the largest Hispanic-serving nonprofit in Georgia. She also serves on the board for the Grove Park Foundation, Fulton Education Foundation and the Midtown Alliance.
Fernandez was recently recognized as one of the 50 Most Influential Latino Leaders in Georgia and was also recognized by the Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility as one of 40 high-achieving Hispanic professionals in the U.S. Additionally, Misty been inducted into the YWCA of Metro Atlanta’s Academy of Women Achievers.
