Our Values

Our Roles

Grove Park Foundation uses the Purpose Built Communities model for thriving neighborhoods, serving as a convening backbone organization in the role of community quarterback. This role is defined by

  • Collaboration: Grove Park Foundation works with and for community, convening residents, partners, and civic stakeholders to advance community priorities.
  • Assessment: Strategy is based on comprehensive assessments that define community needs.
  • Collective Impact: Grove Park Foundation has a partnership model to focus resources and programs on achieving measurable progress on defined community priorities.

A Word From The Board

“As current Board Chair of the Grove Park Foundation, and more importantly as a Grove Park resident, I’ve not only had the opportunity to witness many of the initial efforts and initiatives externally of the Foundation, but now have the privilege of having an internal- hands on perspective as it relates to the projects and partnerships on the horizon for Grove Park residents and our adjacent neighbors.

Since 2017, The Grove Park Foundation has been committed to working in partnership and tandem with our neighbors and other organizations across the community to create a healthy and viable neighborhood. With this level of collaboration, Grove Park Foundation has successfully delivered on projects within our education and housing pillars, and with even more projects and initiatives ready to kickoff over the next few months. I am so proud of the servant leadership of this board, and even more proud of my neighbors and community members on being a unified voice for many of the efforts underway across our community.”
